Ed Williamson (born 31 March 1984 in Teesside, England) is a rugby union player for Newcastle Falcons in the Guinness Premiership who he has played for since the age of 18. A flanker, Williamson made his first team debut in the 2004/2005 season against Leicester Tigers. He has represented England at U19 level.
Williamson is currently the coach of Durham University RFC and Bishop Auckland RFC, and is the son of the late Jack Williamson, a local revolutionary political activist. He is also the nephew of the late Richard Marshall, a local artist. Williamson is father to one child, Jack Edward Arthur, born 13 November 2008.
